This workshop will focus on attitudes and climates present in institutions such as schools and colleges and offer a space to think about different ways in which we can foster more inclusive environments and practices within those specific contexts.<\/p>\n<p>Il est parfois difficile d\u2019aborder la sexualit\u00e9 dans les cadres d\u2019enseignement, surtout avec l\u2019explosion r\u00e9cente des identit\u00e9s sexuelles que les \u00e9tudiants connaissent et utilisent. Cet atelier s\u2019attardera sur les attitudes et le climat qui sont pr\u00e9sents dans les diff\u00e9rents milieux institutionnels, tels que les \u00e9tablissements d\u2019enseignement, et offrira un espace de r\u00e9flexion sur des moyens simples pour d\u00e9velopper un climat et des pratiques plus inclusives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Notes biographiques<\/strong>\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p>Denis Dub\u00e9 is a PhD student in Social Work at McGill and is working with passion on a research project on stigmatization related to HIV and aging among gay men. After 6 years of community work for the volunteering youth program Katimavik, he developed a particular interest in LGBT related issues. He is the creator of a mentorship program for the students of the McGill School of Social Work and has completed a bachelor and a master of social work at McGill University.<\/p>\n<p>Denis Dub\u00e9 est \u00e9tudiant au doctorat en travail social \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 McGill et travaille avec passion sur un projet de recherche qui explore la stigmatisation relative au VIH et au vieillissement chez les hommes gais. \u00c0 la suite de six ans de travail communautaire au sein du programme jeunesse de volontariat Katimavik, il a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un int\u00e9r\u00eat marqu\u00e9 pour les enjeux relatifs aux communaut\u00e9s LGBT.
